DREAMWAVE BEGINNINGS stands as an intimate meditation on memory, lineage, and inherited identity. Hosted by ONEWEARE and featuring UNIQUJEAN, the exhibition transformed the gallery into a quiet ceremonial environment. One shaped by presence and reflection. Fewer than forty guests, dressed in black, gathered within a space that echoed the stillness of a memorial and the reverence of a museum.

Four large-scale sculptures and two one-of-one garments, created in reference to a grandfather’s wardrobe, formed the physical language of the installation. Ambient audio carried a softly spoken poem through the room, while subtle live presence blurred the line between attendee and subject. Together, sculpture, garment, sound, converged as a living tribute to Chester Eugene—whose name continues through UNIQUJEAN.

The exhibition functioned not as display, but as remembrance made visible. A beginning shaped by what remains.
